Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make the website work, remember choices, and optionally collect statistics.

These are necessary for Travel Outenza to function. They cannot be turned off.

• Login and session management
• Security and abuse protection
• Remembering language choice
• Your consent choice is stored locally on your device (localStorage with the key outenza_cookie_consent) so we remember what you approved

The consent choice stays on your device only. It is not sent to us.

These provide additional functionality, such as remembering preferences. You can turn them off without the service stopping working.

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how the website is used, so we can improve the service.

Analytics is only activated if you give consent in the consent banner.

Cookies from Google Analytics

• _ga – Google Analytics – distinguishes unique visitors – 2 years
• _ga_<ID> – Google Analytics – keeps track of the session – 2 years

Analytics is never used in the iOS app. If you withdraw your consent, collection stops and the _ga cookies are deleted.

These are used to show relevant content and advertisements.

Marketing cookies are only activated if you give consent.

Travel Outenza does not currently use marketing cookies.

You can change your choice at any time. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of the page, or Settings in the app, and the choice opens again.

Your consent is valid for 12 months. After that we ask you again, and the choice must be confirmed.

Necessary cookies are always used. Analytics and marketing are only used with your consent.

Your choice is stored locally on your device only, together with the date of the choice and which categories you approved. It is not sent to our servers and is not logged by us.

Some services we use may set their own cookies, for example Google Maps for map functionality and Google Analytics for statistics (only with consent).

These providers have their own cookie policies that you can read on their websites.
